Threads Processing time

Hi

We have a MII 12.2.2.7 on NW 7.11.5.0 running in production setup with two server nodes. Unfortunately we have have experienced issues with one of the server nodes, where the threads get stuck in "processing" (See attached picture from sapmmc). The other server node keeps running just fine.

When I go through the log files (..\usr\sap\[SID]\J00\j2ee\cluster\server1\log) these entries appear roughly around the time of the issue:

PCO Error for OPC DA 2.05A

Experts,

I am using PCO 2.203.1109.245 patch 32692, seeking to connect to a local (same server) RSLinx OPC Server with 2.05A specification.

When I create the source system I get the following error when try to browse or return to the server list after save:  "Connectivity framework error:  External component has thrown an exception."

I can create an agent with this source system but it errors when starting with a similarly cryptic error:  "Manufacturing Fault: REASON = Invalid server information.  Parameter name: input"

The odd thing is that I can successfully connect to a local IP21 OPC server with 3.00 specification.

What's going on here?  Why can I connect without error to 3.00 but not 2.05A?  How to troubleshoot connectivity to the RSLinx OPC server in this case?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

PCO - UTC functionality is not working

Hi All,

I am using SAP MII 14.0 SP4 and PCO 2.3 patch 4.

Trying to create a OLEDB connection for different Timezone and check.I have enabled the option "Convert Server Date and Time to UTC" and also set the property value of Timezone as 'UTC'.

The functionality is not working fine when  MII server and PCO server with timezone EST . So I tried to change the server Timezone of PCO to UTC and tried but no luck. Also tried option of making both the server to UTC. Even though its not working.

Please let me know is their any other configuration to perform?

XPath Date Comparison in Repeater

$

Looking for some help trying to get a date comparison working in a repeater.  I read some other posts, and tried many variations, but I cannot get the date check to work.  I ended up doing the comparison inside the loop, but it checks all 500 or so records, slowing things down.  Objective is delete records older than a calculated date.  Working in MII 12.2.

Here is the basic variation of my attempts:

--Action [GetBomList] outputs an xml docuement, each row the same:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Row>

<Material>140961</Material>

<Description>FP BANANA CREAM OIKOS 3% DUS</Description>

<Version>P001</Version>

<DateTime>2014-05-01T14:36:30</DateTime>

<Scheduled>05/14/2014</Scheduled>

<Status>4</Status>

<User>STARK</User>

<StatusDesc>NEW BOM</StatusDesc>

<bomDate>2014-05-01T14:36:30</bomDate>

</Row>

DateTime and bomDate are the same, needed both (yes, DateTime bad name, not mine).

--Repeater source

------------------------

GetBomList.OutputXML{/Rowsets/Rowset/Row[DateTime<='#Local.BomDeleteDate#']}

I have tried with Local.BomDeleteDate as both a string and a dateTime.  Comparing DateTime='2014-05-01T14:36:30' works, for example, but

that seems to be a string comparision, not by date.

Seems like it should be simple, but maybe answer is a comparision of two date strings will not work with these inputs.

Thanks in Advance,

Dan K

Hi Experts,

I am using SAP EHP1 for NW 7.3 SP07. Recently I upgraded from SAP MII 14.0 SP04 patch 5 to SP05 patch 2.

After Upgrading I am getting many issues as below:

1. When opening "http://hostname:port/XMII/" as file "/LogoPage.html" does not exist. When I checked the file its not exist in the server.

2. When opening web pages I am getting java alert as "The application contains both signed and unsigned code"like that.

I am using JRE v 1.6.0_21.

Is that problem with the Patch that I deployed or any other issue.

Please let me know?

Change Web-service destination system

Hi There,

How to change the WS destination  URL for WS action block based on the host system.

I have a BLS in DEV system calling a webservice from 3rd party DEV system . When i promoted this BLS to MII QA , Obviously it is still referring to old URL.

I want to dynamically change the URL of WS Action to call webservice of 3rd party QA system. Like wise, MII PROD should call Prod WS of 3rd party.

I can change the URL manually after the promotion, but wondering there should be elegant way to deal with in MII framework.

Any ideas?

Thanks
